The Renkus-Heinz speakers stand out for having a clear, powerful, and focused sound in your space. When I encounter a site with problems of reflections, reverberations, and noises that affect sound quality and intelligibility, Renkus-Heinz is the brand I initially recommend.
Renkus-Heinz is a leading company in professional sound solutions that uses the most advanced technology to focus and define sound. Renkus-Heinz offers a wide range of high-quality, high-performance products that can be applied in various fields, such as houses of worship, venues and events, auditoriums, education, transportation, corporate, and more.
Technology of Renkus-Heinz

Renkus-Heinz stands out for its constant innovation in the field of professional sound. Its technology is based on three fundamental pillars: directivity control, beam steering, and the RHAON II software.
Directivity Control or Beam Steering

Renkus-Heinz Beam Steering Technology
Directivity control is the ability to focus and define sound in small and challenging spaces, preventing it from dispersing or getting lost along the way. Directivity control allows you to create specific sound zones that only cover the desired area, without affecting other nearby zones.
Renkus-Heinz uses directivity control in many of its products, like the DC12/2, a self-powered column with 12 two-inch drivers that delivers natural and even sound in reverberant or noisy spaces. The DC12/2 has a horizontal coverage angle of 150 degrees and a vertically adjustable angle between 20 and 40 degrees.
With this directivity or beam steering, we have the ability to direct sound towards the audience and avoid unwanted reflections on walls and ceilings that can cause echoes or interferences. Beam steering allows you to adjust the tilt and shape of the sound beam to adapt to the characteristics of the space and event.
Renkus-Heinz uses beam steering in their ICONYX Gen5, IC Live X, and IC Live Gen5 series, which are self-powered columns with multiple drivers that can be individually controlled to create narrow or wide sound beams. These columns offer wide and adaptable sound coverage for various environments and events.

Renkus Heinz Applications
Renkus Heinz has extensive experience in designing and installing professional sound systems for various fields and sectors. Below are some real examples of projects that have used Renkus Heinz products to improve sound quality and intelligibility.
Houses of Worship

Proyecto Catedral de Valledupar. 4 Renkus-Heinz columns were enough to provide clear sound to 4,000 people.
The Cathedral of Valledupar is a Catholic temple located in the city of Valledupar, Colombia. It is a historic building dating back to the 18th century and has a capacity for 1,500 people. The temple had acoustic problems due to its architecture and its location in an area with heavy traffic and noise.
To solve these problems, Schallertech designed and installed a professional sound system based on Renkus Heinz products. The system consists of two IC Live Gen5 columns with beam steering technology that were placed on either side of the main altar, two DR18-2R subwoofers located under the altar, and four CFX61 speakers distributed across the ceiling to reinforce the sound in the furthest areas.
The result is clear and intelligible sound that covers the entire central nave and the side chapels, without causing reflections or interferences. The system is controlled by RHAON II software from a Yamaha TF1 digital console.
